I'm a Canadian satire creator with years in advertising, design, tech, music, and media production, dragged into animation by politics, rage, and an unhealthy talent for organizing chaos.
Our Mission
Fighting Disinformation With Humour
I built CrankyCartoons because Canadian politics has gotten weird, dishonest, and dangerously stupid. Sometimes the clearest response is a cartoon snowman with a bad attitude and a receipt folder.
This is a one-man media project built with animation, writing, research, design, music, video production, and web tools. My goal is simple: cut through the spin, call out the hypocrisy, and make the bullshit easier to see.
I am not owned by a party, funded by corporations, or shaped by advertisers. I am on the side of democracy, accountability, human rights, and truth. If politicians, pundits, or media grifters are selling nonsense, Cranky is here to point, laugh, and document the damage.
Since 2022, I have been tracking the spread of American-style disinformation in Canada, the politicians who exploit it, and the media ecosystem that helps it grow. I use humour because humour gets through the armour, travels faster than lectures, and helps people fight back without drowning in the ugliness.
